Car Insurance, outta pocket or make claim...? HELP?

-I just got into an accident with a 2009 G6 and my question is should I pay out of pocket or make a claim?



I just got insurance through AAA for the first time, I'm 19, the accident is considered "at fault", I have a $500 deductible and my current rate is about $870 per 6 months for full coverage. I asked my agent and she said to consider paying out of pocket because my rates would skyrocket being I'm so young.



I got two estimates done so far, one from a third party type of auto body repair and one from an actual GM car dealership. The dealership said about $4,500 and the other shop said around $3,300.



Any ideas or advice??sky rocket? yes, $4,500 not quit that much file the claim,what u hit ? a caddy
