How long should u wait after taking the second driving test when u failed the first time?

-hi there, i have passed my driving test yesterday, i have done only one mistake however i failed cos it was dangerous mistake, im really disappointed, i want to book for the second test bt dont know how long should i wait before taking the test again? i live in uk by the way

You might need to have more lessons, to prevent you from making the same mistake again - either in your next test or once you have passed. Take the error form from the examiner to your driving instructor, and ask what they think.



Depending on the waiting list at your local driving centre, you may be able to re-book pretty much right away, and still have six weeks until your exam, but I would certainly advise asking your instructor, in case they think you need more lessons.
You cannot re book your practical driving test within 10 working days of your previous test so any time after 2 weeks will be fine. Depending on what test centre you will be doing there may be a long waiting period so book as soon as you can if you want to re take your test as soon as possible. Just make sure the date does not fall within the 10 working day period from your last failed test.
If it was just one serious, then you can probably book again right away - most centres have around a months waiting list anyway. Ask your instructor though, he/she will know better than anyone how ready you are.
Minimum is 10 days never tried it but don't think the system would let you re book before then as technically it gives you time to get a lesson or two in and put any mistakes right

So you did not pass your test yesterday. You have to wait 10 working days so if you want one quick book it as soon as possible as there is a longer than 10 days wait.
I waited about a week or 2 before I went in to try again, but that was because I needed some more practice. :)) Good luck on your test!
Go when you feel your ready. If you learned from your mistake and your comfortable behind the wheel I say you should go asap
Take it as soon as they will they will let you, usually the next day.
