How to sign car title over?

-I live in Texas and want to sign my truck that is still in Pennsylvania over to a family member. Can I just go to a notary here, sign the title, and mail it to them to take a notary there to sign?



Thanks!Most states really don't need a notarized signature any more. Just go ahead and sign the title in the proper place(s) and mail it to them. You might want to include a simple bill of sale along with the title, just to make things a bit easier at the DMV.



Once you have signed the title, then pretty much anyone can transfer ownership, so make sure that when you mail it, it's by certified mail with a return receipt.
