In alaska your allowed to get your Learners permit at 14 do you have to add your teenager to your insurance?

-Okay so i live in Alaska and we have state farm. My mom isnt letting me get my permit until next summer cause i'll be 16 cause she thinks that if i get my learners permit at 15 that it will go on her insurance plan. Well,plenty of teenagers have there permit and have had no problems with their mom and dad saying no and they are 14! so is this true? if it isnt give me a website that proves it so i can show my mama. Thaaaaanks :p
