Will allstate send me a check or the body shop?

-A hit and run driver has allstate insurance and is calling me about claim.

They recommended their shop but i did my own pick.

I faxed the estimate at the body shop.

The damage is 1200.00

will they send me a check or try to pay the bodyshop.

I suggest you call the insurance co and request the check be mailed to you, You will take care of it later when you have time.
It could either be issued payable to you AND the body shop (my daughter's case) or made payable to you if you request it so.
In most cases, since you sent them the estimate, they'll mail you the check
