Could your car insurance be with an out of state agency?

-I have car insurance with a company in Baton Rouge, Go Auto, that is unavailable in Atlanta. I don't want to find a new company, so I was wondering if I could just pay the bill through the mail or online and keep my old agency, or would I have to find a new one. It is possible that your premiums will increase because you are now in a more populated area where the potential for an accident is greater.
