-damage category = C
loss date 11-07-2008
repair costs exceed pre-accsident value,
there is no record of a vic inspection
Im about to buy a motorbike but I did a quick reg check... what does it mean? thanksIt was in an insurance claim in July 2008 and the cost of the repair though cosmetic was going to cost more than the vehicle was worth so the insurer wrote it off.
This vehicle will be very difficult and expensive to insure and would be best avoided or at best get a quote from your insurer on the vehicle and tell them it is Cat C
It may not yet have been repaired at all and had a new V5C log book issued as if it had been it would have had a Vehicle Identity Check done VICit means ..DO NOT BUY ..its a scrapper ..repaired and not even inspected ....dont even look at it
It means that you don't know how to spell "vehicle".
Or "accident".
It means don't buy it.
