Will they give me a Driving license without taking a test ?

-So First let me start. I pass the writing test when I 14 years old, I could not apply for permit because I was young to get a permit, Then the age of 16 when I was close to 17 asked my teach If I can get my permit, he said that No, It has been long when you took your writing test, he also said that i have to take another test, So I passed another test when I was 17 and then I went to Motor vehicle, they give me a driving permit, and a date to for my driving test But what happen I went for a long Vacation, I missed the date ...Now I am 19 Should I prepare for another test when going to the Motor vehicle or will the give me a license?

Note. I live in the State of New Jersey.

Thanks in advance.your permit has an expiration date by which time you need to take and pass a road test to get a license. This date has passed, so your permit is no longer valid. You will need to go to motor vehicle office and get a new permit and then take and pass a road test during the valid period to get a license. Even if you take your old expired permit along to show them, you will be told that "past experience" will not be taken into account.
in nj you have to renew permit and then schedule a road test
